Unbelievable. Was in the area for a conference and searched some gluten free options. This place is gold. By far the best food I’ve ever eaten. We had the onion rings, mac and cheese, fish and chips, chocolate chip cookie, and apple crumble and I left feeling awful but because I ate it all . My husband just kept repeating “I can’t believe this is gluten free” and “we need to tell everyone”

TL;DR: Order the S’more Insomnia and Pumpkin Pancakes for the table—trust me, you’ll thank me later. What a way to kick off the new year! We started strong with the S’more Insomnia (aka the espresso martini), and it was perfection. As for the food, I was a little skeptical — gluten-free doesn’t always have the best rep, but they proved me wrong. The smoked salmon toast? A total win. Paired with Cajun potatoes that were beautifully seasoned. My friends went for the pumpkin pancakes and French toast—both of which were devoured in a reasonable amount of time thoroughly enjoying every bite! Safe to say, I’ll definitely be back for round two!

I was visiting Toronto from the UK, and I have a gluten intolerance, so we'd looked up a few recommendations on places to eat before we came out. Almond Butterfly Bistro had shown up on a few websites and blogs, so my partner and I were excited to visit. It did not disappoint. There was a fantastic, varied menu. We both opted for pancakes, and they were absolutely delicious. My partner commented that he couldn't tell they were gluten-free, which is a huge compliment. I wish we had longer in Toronto, as we would have come back, but it is definitely a place we'll revisit on our next trip. Almond Butterfly also have cakes and pastries available from the front of the bistro, and we would have indulged had we not been full up from our pancakes!

Great Gluten free options, took my Celiac friend here for brunch and we each had the traditional breakfast 10/10. We also shared their strawberry vanilla cupcake and it was amazing, must try!

My friends and I recently came for a bachelorette trip to Toronto, and ate at Almond Butterfly for dinner - as someone with celiac, this place is AMAZING! The food was absolutely delicious - it was awesome that we could pick anything off the menu and have it be totally safe! I had a cheeseburger and fries and it was amazing. The servers were also incredibly lovely - we were setting up the table with some decorations while the bride was distracted, and the servers were so kind to help us set-up the table to surprise her! :) I will absolutely be coming back - I only wish it were closer to Niagara!

We tried this restaurant for the first time on a busy Sunday. Our server, Juliana, was wonderful. So kind and helpful. The food was excellent. Truly exceptional. One of the better meals we have had in a while. I had the cheeseburger which was one of the best burgers I have had in many years. We also had the steak and salmon. All of which was great. Excellent frites and great vegetables too. Everything made with care. Good wine list and many custom alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks. This bistro is fantastic. So worth the drive here. We will be back very soon. Thank you for a wonderful experience. UPDATE: we returned to the restaurant and it was still just as fantastic. Juliana is still wonderful, the food is still exceptional and the ambiance is still great. I had the Mac and cheese this time with crispy chicken and it was one of the better Mac and cheeses I have had. This place is a gem. We wish we had found it years ago. Thank you again for a magnificent meal.

Tasty food, large portions, and friendly service. My friend and I came for brunch and we really enjoyed the traditional breakfast. I liked the lavender lemonade. We went on a Sunday at 12 pm and it was very busy. Brunch reservations are highly recommended on weekends and holidays. Update: I came back for brunch with my fiance. I loved the chai latte. The pumpkin pancakes were delicious, fluffy, light, and gluten-free! Although they were a bit too sweet for me, I still really liked them.

The food was amazing! I had a traditional breakfast, and the gluten free toast was something I only dream about. It was so good! It was super busy because of a certain musical act in town, but they seemed to be on top of the crowd. I loved the hallway down to the bathroom so much I had to take a pic. Also the waiting area is super cute!
